Children\u2019s Workshop: Dogs for companionship and assistance to children\u00a0 (This workshop will be held in parallel to the parents\u2019 workshop – on the same dates and same hours)\/<\/p>\n
The dog training workshop is suitable for children age 6 and up. If younger children will register, we will arrange suitable activities.<\/p>\n
Many studies have shown that dogs are friends and special, loving helpers for children and people with various illnesses.<\/p>\n
Other studies focusing on people with MS have proven that their quality of life improves when that have a dog at home.<\/p>\n
The first question people ask is how do we take the dog out for a walk and to do their business?<\/p>\n
So we decided to bring a real expert and dog trainer to explain, show, demonstrate, answer any questionsand teach basic training – and come with dogs.<\/p>\n
